At iPeople Solutions, we are committed to delivering high-quality services that improve the lives of children and young people in care. As a Child Welfare Specialist, you will be part of our Permanency and Transitions Team, working with vulnerable individuals to achieve positive outcomes.
Salary and BenefitsThe role comes with an estimated salary of £44 per hour and £150 per week expenses. This includes an agreed weekly agency accommodation/commuter travel allowance for those living 50 miles or more from their work base.
Job Description- We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team on a full-time basis (37 hours per week).
- As a Permanency and Transition Professional, you will work closely with children, their carers, and families to develop and implement individualized plans.
- Your primary responsibilities will include building long-term relationships with children and young people, managing adolescent risk, and preparing Care/Pathway Plans.
- You will also supervise, support, and mentor young people transitioning into independent living, ensuring they receive the necessary skills and guidance for adulthood.
- A sound knowledge of legislation and regulations surrounding children in care and care experienced young people is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to engage and build relationships with children, young people, and their families.
- Strong organizational and time management skills will enable you to prioritize tasks and manage multiple cases effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to service development and improvement initiatives.
