About the Role

We are seeking a Paediatric Neurodevelopment Specialist Nurse to cover a 10-month maternity leave post. This is a new role to North Devon and will be instrumental in setting up and developing the ADHD/Neurodevelopment service.

As a Paediatric Neurodevelopment Specialist Nurse, you will provide support and input to the child and family for any required hospital admissions and support the inpatient nursing team with specialist advice.

You will also promote and contribute to an effective multi-disciplinary service for this group, in a way that is flexible and responsive to changing needs and demands of the families and overall service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organise a defined caseload of children and young people with ADHD
  • Provide support and input to the child and family for any required hospital admissions
  • Support the inpatient nursing team with specialist advice
  • Contribute to an effective multi-disciplinary service for this group

Salary: £46,148 - £52,809 per annum pro rata

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 2.5 days per week
