We are a leading provider of social work services in the UK, committed to supporting vulnerable children and families.
Job OverviewAs a Child Protection Specialist with iPeople Solutions, you will be working with our client in Barnstaple, North Devon, to provide high-quality social work services to children and young people in need.
Salary: £44 per hour and up to £150 per week expenses (travel/accommodation)
About the Role- You will be responsible for managing child-in-need and child protection cases, as well as cases in legal proceedings and looked after children.
- You will work closely with our experienced social workers and specialist practitioners to provide assessments, interventions, and direct work with children and families.
- Expectation would be for SWs to work to a hybrid model, with regular office hours to forge relationships with colleagues and partnerships.
- You will need to commit to being in Devon every other week for a full week to support duty and see children in a timely manner.
Key Requirements: Experienced social workers with good practice skills and ability to model this across the service with peers.
Benefits: Accessible office space, opportunity to build meaningful relationships with children, young people, and families, and an agreed weekly agency accommodation/travel allowance of up to £150 per week for those living 50 miles or more from their work base.
