Job Overview

iPeople Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate social worker to support our children and young people in North Devon.

This role offers a unique opportunity to build positive relationships with children, young people, and families, while contributing to the safety and well-being of vulnerable children.

As a member of our Initial Response team, you will play a crucial role in conducting Child and Family Assessments and section 47 Child Protection enquiries when necessary.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and interventions to support children and families
  • Work closely with Local Authority's Children and Families teams to ensure effective support and protection for vulnerable children
  • Collaborate with other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for children and families
  • Be available in Devon for a full week every other week, with flexibility to travel to Devon on alternate weeks

The successful candidate will have a strong background in good practice and the ability to model this across the service with peers.

Our Offering:

  • An estimated hourly rate of £44
  • Expenses up to £150 per week
