About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Paediatric Psychology Service in North Devon. This is a full-time Band 7 role providing maternity cover for a period of one year.

Key Responsibilities
  • To offer high-quality psychological care to children and young people experiencing significant mental health difficulties and their families
  • To provide advanced formulation skills, consultation, and service development contributions
  • To work collaboratively with the team, including regular clinical supervision and separate line management

Our Paediatric Psychology Service aims to support children and young people to manage the psychological impact of living with a physical health diagnosis as part of their paediatrician-led care.

Requirements
  • A Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent Masters level qualification
  • Active registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC
  • Experience of working collaboratively with service users and their families/carers, including using goal-based care and routine outcome measures in practice
  • Experience of working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team and across agencies
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £46,404 - £53,168 per annum (inclusive of SCPs). The benefits package includes access to further training and professional development opportunities, a supportive and collaborative working environment, and opportunities for career progression.
