Senior Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our team in North Devon. As a key member of our Child and Family Health Devon CAMHS crisis services, you will play a vital role in providing expert assessment and evidence-based treatment for children and young people with complex mental health difficulties.
Working closely with our multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, safe, and compassionate care to children and young people. Your professional expertise, skills, and knowledge will be essential in providing integrated healthcare for children across Children and Family Health Devon.
Key responsibilities will include managing a defined caseload, providing clinical supervision, and participating in user involvement in services. You will also be expected to engage in team and service development, including participating in audit, evaluation, and review.
Requirements- A professional mental health qualification, e.g., RMN, Social Work Degree, BSc/Diploma in OT, SROT, or equivalent
- Active registration with the appropriate professional body, e.g., NMC, HCPC
- Recognised qualification in evidenced-based therapeutic, mental health interventions for children/young people and their families/carers
- Postgraduate qualification relevant to specialism
- Clinical Supervision qualification
- Substantial experience of managing an extensive and complex caseload and working with children/young people presenting with a range of complex mental health presentations
