About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our innovative multi-disciplinary team at the Community Eating Disorder Service (CEDS) in Devon.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health and eating disorders, with experience in assessing care needs, developing, implementing, and evaluating individual recovery plans.

As a key member of the team, you will work closely with patients, clinicians, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess care needs and develop individual recovery plans
  • Deliver psychologically informed interventions and support patients to attend physical health appointments
  • Facilitate education and clinical audit to improve service quality
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care
  • Contribute to the supervision and development of other team members
Person Specification

We are looking for a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse, Allied Health Professional, or Social Worker with:

  • Knowledge and understanding of mental health problems
  • Training and knowledge in therapeutic interventions or a willingness to obtain qualifications
  • Experience of working in mental health and eating disorders
  • Knowledge of relevant psychological therapies for treating eating disorders
  • Good level of IT/computer skills
