About the Role:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Spiritual Care Specialist to join our Chaplaincy Team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering spiritual care to patients, family, and staff of all faiths and none.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide pastoral support to individuals within the hospital setting, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
- Deliver spiritual care to patients, relatives, and staff
- Provide emotional and psychological support
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and staff
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in chaplaincy or a related field
- Familiarity with the healthcare sector and its challenges
- Good standing within a faith or belief group
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
