Nuclear Safety and Performance Lead
We are looking for a dedicated professional to oversee our company's quality, health, safety, and environment initiatives. As a Quality and Performance Advisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our integrated management system (IMS). Your primary goal will be to ensure that all aspects of our operations align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

In this position, you will work closely with various teams, including project, engineering, and design groups, to implement and monitor QHSE programs. You will also collaborate with our IMS Manager to integrate QHSE performance into our operational areas. Effective communication with our Head/Deputy Head of QHSE is essential to keep them informed about QHSE-related matters.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  1. Maintaining and updating the IMS to meet business needs, customer expectations, and regulatory demands.
  2. Collaborating with engineers and project managers to ensure the effective deployment of QHSE programs and tracking performance indicators.
  3. Working with the IMS Manager to ensure seamless integration of QHSE performance into operational areas.
  4. Providing regular updates to the Head/Deputy Head of QHSE on QHSE-related matters, including adherence to and evolution of regulatory frameworks.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
  1. A recognized IOSH or NEBOSH safety certificate.
  2. A deep understanding of nuclear safety culture principles.
  3. Demonstrable field engagement experience.
  4. Strong knowledge of performance management techniques and root cause analysis methods (FMEA, A-Z, 5 Whys, LEAN, Six Sigma).
  5. On-site experience in engineering, chemical, and design activities.

Compensation Package
You can expect a competitive salary of £65,000 per annum, along with a range of benefits, including:
