Nuclear Safety Case Specialist

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Safety Case Specialist to join our team at Rullion.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of techniques and methodology used in the development of safety cases, as well as strong understanding of UK nuclear legislation, industry, site licensing, authorisation and environmental permitting with associated industry guidance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Contribute to the Site Safety Case by applying appropriate analytical methods.
  2. Provide authoritative advice, guidance, and mentoring to safety case specialists to maintain an effective safety case structure.
  3. Ensure the site Safety Case team complies with policies and procedures while performing tasks.
  4. Liaise with internal and external safety and regulatory authorities.
  5. Participate in internal and external meetings related to safety and nuclear regulations.
