We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Psychiatric Specialist to join our team at Health in Justice. As a key member of our integrated mental health team, you will provide exceptional clinical care and support to patients in a secure environment.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in forensic mental health. You will be responsible for providing assessment, treatment, and care to patients, as well as contributing to the strategic direction of our mental health service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality clinical care and support to patients
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
- Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes
- Contribute to the development and implementation of mental health services

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Registration with the GMC
- Specialist Registration in General Adult or Forensic Psychiatry
- Approved under section 12 (2) of the MHS 1983
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of adult psychiatry and PD
