Role Overview
Ouse Valley Sussex CAMHS Service is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Lead in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services to join their locality team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a safe, effective, and caring service to children and young people (0-18 years).
About the Role
As a Clinical Lead in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, you will be responsible for providing high-quality specialist clinical assessments, including relevant psychiatric and physical investigations, to children, young people, and their families in a range of settings. You will work collaboratively with other members of the team to plan and deliver appropriate, individually tailored treatment plans.
Working with Us
You will be part of a friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team, including nurses, psychologists, systemic family therapists, and child psychotherapists. You will also be part of a Trust-wide SAS network, where you will have opportunities to liaise with colleagues in other posts throughout the Trust and develop peer networks.

Location
The service we provide is in line with NICE Evidenced-Based Treatment for children and young people. You will have the opportunity to work in a scenic location, with easy access to airports and London.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality specialist clinical assessments to children, young people, and their families.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the team to plan and deliver appropriate treatment plans.
- Participate in a Trust-wide SAS network, developing peer networks and liaising with colleagues.
Requirements
You will need to be a qualified psychiatrist with experience in child and adolescent mental health services. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
