We are seeking an experienced and skilled Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver specialist clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for children and adolescents with mental health issues. The role will involve working with a wide range of patients, including those with complex and severe mental health needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and a passion for working with children and adolescents. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified psychiatrist with a strong background in child and adolescent psychiatry. They will have excellent knowledge of the latest research and treatment approaches in this field and be able to apply this knowledge in a practical way to improve patient outcomes. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The role will involve working closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, psychologists, and social workers, to deliver comprehensive care to patients. The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. They will also have a strong understanding of the Trust’s values and a passion for working in a multidisciplinary team.

About the Role

  • Deliver specialist clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for children and adolescents with mental health issues.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care to patients.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that are tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
  • Provide consultation and education to other healthcare professionals, including nurses, psychologists, and social workers.
