Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Commercial Performance Improvement Specialist to join our Commercial Operations team at Gumtree & Motors. As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for driving commercial growth and improving customer experience through data-driven insights and process improvements.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong analytical skills, commercial awareness, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, develop and implement business change projects, and monitor and report on key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse current business processes and proactively recommend improvements that drive efficiency and growth.
  • Monitor and report on key data points to assess commercial performance, covering everything from sales team effectiveness to dealer experience and live service risks.
  • Develop and implement business change projects that align with our commercial objectives.
  • Present valuable insights and prepare actionable recommendations from Salesforce data, including customer feedback surveys, to guide decision-making.
  • Evaluate data entry processes, ensuring high standards of data quality are met and maintained.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset who is highly numerate and can turn insights into compelling stories.
  • Commercial awareness, applying a pragmatic, hypothesis-led approach, and experience working within sales teams to understand customer lifecycles.
  • Familiarity with CRMs, BI reporting tools, and cloud-based platforms like Salesforce and Pardot is key.

The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
