Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service in Inverness Community.

About the Role: As a Senior Nurse Practitioner, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to individuals struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. Your clinical expertise and strong interpersonal skills will enable you to offer interventions, harm reduction advice, and deliver safe and effective care to a diverse client population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out comprehensive assessments to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Offer supervision and support to junior staff within the service
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Inner Moray Firth area to provide seamless care
  • Provide specialized knowledge of drug and alcohol dependence to inform treatment decisions

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a minimum of 3 years post-registration experience and 1 year of experience working in the field of Drug and Alcohol. A full current driving license and use of a car for work purposes are essential.
