Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team in the delivery of acute care and rehabilitation of major trauma patients.

About the Role: As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing dedicated leadership in the development of key aspects of responsive, high-quality, and sustainable Major Trauma Unit (TU) care within Inverness for adults and paediatrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the systems in place for clinical care of trauma patients from roadside to rehabilitation.
  • Work closely with the North of Scotland Trauma Network Clinical Lead to provide dedicated clinical leadership to develop the TU component of the North of Scotland (NoS) Trauma Network.
  • Act as clinical representative on the relevant Raigmore Hospital management group for implementation of the TU service.

Requirements: Full registration with a licence to practice with the GMC is required. You should have an interest in the delivery of acute care and rehabilitation of the major trauma patient.
