Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team at NHS Highland. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing dedicated leadership in the development of key aspects of responsive, high-quality, and sustainable Major Trauma Unit (TU) care within Inverness for adults and paediatrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of systems in place for clinical care of trauma patients from roadside to rehabilitation.
  • Collaboration with the North of Scotland Trauma Network Clinical Lead to provide dedicated clinical leadership to develop the TU component of the North of Scotland (NoS) Trauma Network.
  • Representation on the relevant Raigmore Hospital management group for implementation of the TU service.

Requirements: Full registration with a licence to practice with the GMC is required. The post holder will work closely with the North of Scotland Trauma Network Clinical Lead to provide dedicated clinical leadership to develop the TU component of the North of Scotland (NoS) Trauma Network.
