Lead Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Lead Occupational Therapist at St Mary's Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to individuals with Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI), progressive neurological conditions, Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), and Deaf Mental Health problems.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a complex caseload using evidence-based and people-focused principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual and group interventions.
- Participate fully with the multidisciplinary team and encourage service users to be fully engaged in their care pathway.
- Ensure the team maintains accurate and timely records detailing each patient's rehabilitation/progress.
- Support clinical team working, including direct interventions and staff training programs.
- Develop living skills, rehabilitation, and educational opportunities/therapies under the strategic direction of the Therapy Lead and other members of the Senior Management Team.
- Qualified and registered as an Occupational Therapist.
- At least 3 years post-qualifying experience.
- Experience in assessing people with various psychometrics and risk assessment tools.
- Ability to work therapeutically, engaging people in developing insight and coping skills to manage complex needs.
- Experience in supervising and managing junior members of the team.
- A full and clean UK driving license.
- Annual salary of up to £52,000.
