About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in providing leadership and guidance to junior staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality occupational therapy services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective leadership and supervision to junior staff, including support staff and assistants.
- Ensure the delivery of occupational therapy student placements.
- Support the completion of appraisals and personal development plans with junior staff.
- Develop and implement policies, protocols, and care pathways.
- Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure clients receive comprehensive care.
Requirements:
- Occupational Therapy profession qualification.
- UK HCPC Registration.
- Extensive post-qualification clinical experience with children and young people who have complex needs.
- Experience of applying occupational frames of reference and approaches.
- Demonstrated evidence of highly effective clinical reasoning skills.
- Specialist knowledge of relevant assessment and treatment models.
- Knowledge of working with neurodiverse individuals.
