About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Lead Occupational Therapist at St Mary's Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for managing a complex caseload and providing evidence-based interventions to support individuals with Acquired Brain Injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate fully with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care pathways for service users.
  • Manage and coordinate the implementation of individual treatment plans for occupational therapy services.
  • Ensure accurate and timely records are maintained detailing each patient's rehabilitation progress.
  • Effectively manage and develop more junior staff members.
  • Support clinical team working, including direct interventions and staff training programs.
  • Develop living skills, rehabilitation, and educational opportunities/therapies under the strategic direction of the Therapy Lead.
Requirements
  • Qualified and registered as an Occupational Therapist.
  • At least 3 years post-qualifying experience.
  • Experience in assessing individuals with various psychometrics and risk assessment tools.
  • Ability to work therapeutically, engaging individuals in developing insight and coping skills.
  • Experience in supervising and managing junior team members.
  • A full and clean UK driving license.
