Are you a seasoned Occupational Therapist looking to take on a leadership role and contribute to meaningful change? We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Occupational Therapist to join our team at St Mary's Hospital.
About the Role:As a Lead Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for managing a complex caseload and leading a team of Occupational Therapists. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure that service users receive high-quality care and support. Your expertise and leadership skills will be essential in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, ensuring timely and effective interventions, and promoting a culture of excellence within the team.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of Occupational Therapists, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each service user.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure that service users are meeting their goals and making progress.
- Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure that all team members are aware of and adhere to policies and procedures, including those related to confidentiality, data protection, and safeguarding.
- Qualified and registered as an Occupational Therapist.
- At least 3 years post-qualifying experience, with a strong background in leadership and management.
- Experience in assessing and treating individuals with a range of physical, emotional, and cognitive needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and with varying levels of ability.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and partnership working.
- Annual salary of up to £52,000.
