At Elysium Healthcare, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of occupational therapists in delivering person-centered care to individuals with acquired brain injuries, progressive neurological conditions, autism spectrum conditions, and deaf mental health problems.
- Develop and implement effective care plans that promote independence, recovery, and confidence in individuals with complex needs.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and support individuals in making decisions and accessing the community.
- Provide training and support to junior staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in occupational therapy.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, protocols, and care pathways that promote best practice in occupational therapy.
- Occupational Therapy profession qualification.
- UK HCPC Registration.
- Extensive and relevant post-qualification clinical experience in working with children and young people with complex needs.
- Expertise in applying occupational frames of reference and approaches.
- Demonstrated evidence of highly effective clinical reasoning skills.
- Highly specialist knowledge of relevant assessment and treatment models.
- Knowledge of how to work with neurodiverse individuals.
- Annual salary of £35,000.
