Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients with spinal cord injuries, neurological conditions, and acquired brain injuries in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting, to our clients in their own homes.
  • Support clients with daily living tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and managing medication.
  • Assist clients with social activities, such as hobbies, outings, and entertainment.
  • Work collaboratively with our clinical and business leadership teams to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • Kind and caring nature, with a strong commitment to providing excellent care.
  • Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
