About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff in the Acute Medical Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care and support under the supervision of a Registered General Nurse
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver excellent patient outcomes
  • Assist with patient fundamentals of nursing care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a hospital environment, preferably in a medical setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Desirable: ability to speak Welsh
