Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team in the Main Outpatients Department.

The successful candidate will work closely with Registered Nurses and Medical Teams to provide high-quality patient care, ensuring the dignity and equality of patients are maintained at all times.

Main Duties

Assist Registered Nurses/Practitioners in delivering holistic patient care, incorporating the principles of the Fundamentals of Care.

Support patients in maintaining their personal hygiene and appearance, and perform duties within the plan of care delegated by a qualified practitioner.

Prepare the ward/clinical area for receiving patients, ensuring a clean and tidy environment, and report any untidiness/clutter to the appropriate person.

Assist in the admission of new patients, preparing bed/trolley areas, welcoming patients, and directing them to their designated areas.
