We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to provide high-quality support to an individual with their daily needs and activities.

About the Role:
  • Support the individual to access activities they enjoy, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work with the individual to help them communicate and navigate social situations, building their confidence and self-esteem.
  • Support and maintain the individual's independence within the home and in the community, promoting their autonomy and dignity.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide person-centered support to the individual, tailoring your approach to their unique needs and preferences.
  • Assist the individual with daily tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Support the individual to engage in activities they enjoy, promoting their physical and mental well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals, such as healthcare workers and social workers, to ensure the individual receives comprehensive support.
Requirements:
  • Enhanced DBS check required (paid for by the Employer).
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and school holidays.
  • 12 hours per week, with a 5.6 weeks rota of annual leave.
  • Good hourly rate of £13.00 per hour.
