About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Personal Assistant/Support Worker to join our team. As a Personal Assistant/Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with their daily life, enabling them to maintain their independence and participate in activities they enjoy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the individual to access activities they enjoy, promoting their social and emotional well-being.
- Work with the individual to develop and implement a personalized support plan, focusing on their strengths and abilities.
- Assist the individual with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Provide emotional support and companionship, helping the individual to build and maintain relationships.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as healthcare workers and social workers, to ensure the individual receives comprehensive support.
Requirements:
- Experience working with vulnerable adults or children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Enhanced DBS check required.
