About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Personal Assistant/Support Worker to join our team. As a Personal Assistant/Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with their daily life, enabling them to maintain their independence and participate in activities they enjoy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the individual to access activities they enjoy, promoting their social and emotional well-being.
  • Work with the individual to develop and implement a personalized support plan, focusing on their strengths and abilities.
  • Assist the individual with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship, helping the individual to build and maintain relationships.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as healthcare workers and social workers, to ensure the individual receives comprehensive support.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with vulnerable adults or children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Enhanced DBS check required.
