About the Role

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Haematology Consultant to join our team. As a Haematology Consultant, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in the diagnosis and management of haematological disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the diagnosis and management of haematological disorders
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with haematological disorders
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Conduct research and participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members
Requirements
  • FRCP or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in haematology and blood transfusion
  • Knowledge of malignant haematology and coagulation disorders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
