Medical Instrumentation Service Engineer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Instrumentation Service Engineer to join our team in South East England. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for the service, breakdown repair and maintenance of our range of advanced Surgical Microscopes and Ophthalmic Instrumentation located at hospitals and healthcare centres throughout the region.
Salary and Benefits:
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £42,000 - £45,000 per annum, plus a 15% bonus, resulting in an estimated total earnings of £48,000 - £51,000. In addition to this, you will also receive a company car, generous lunch allowance and expenses policy, pension, private medical cover, life assurance, flexible benefits package and 28 days holiday.
About the Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for a Field Service Engineer or ex HM Forces Engineer (RAF, Navy or REME) with a background in electrical-mechanical or electronic high-value equipment to join a leading manufacturer of surgical microscopy and ophthalmic devices. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining, installing and repairing complex capital equipment and possess impeccable customer service skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in maintaining, installing and repairing high-value capital equipment
- Qualification in electronics, engineering, electrical or another relevant technical discipline
- Full UK driving licence
- Impeccable customer service skills
