About the Job

The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical assistance and maintenance for end-users within our organization's computing environment. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading all end-user devices and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the lifecycle of IT-related equipment, from procurement to disposal, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records and reports, tracking IT asset inventory, maintenance schedules, and other key metrics.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • College diploma or equivalent work experience in a related field, such as computer science or information technology.
  • Certifications in IT-related subjects, such as CompTIA or Microsoft MCE, are highly desirable.
  • Strong technical knowledge of current network and PC operating systems, including Windows PCs and Office applications.
  • Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship-building abilities to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
