Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Engineer to join our team at Visum Recruitment Ltd. As an Internal Sales Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting the Sales & Marketing Manager and Business Development Managers to achieve performance objectives for equipment sales.

Your primary responsibility will be to sell directly to contractors and end users, securing new business opportunities across all market sectors in the region. You will also provide technical support to consultants and maintain key relationships with Suppliers and Customers.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and deliver proposals that meet customer needs, collaborating with the Sales & Marketing Manager and Regional Business Development Manager.
  2. Secure new business opportunities across all market sectors in the region, selling directly to contractors and end users.
  3. Promote equipment acceptance among consultants through Continuing Professional Development presentations.
  4. Foster key relationships with Suppliers and Customers, maintaining regular communication.
Key Job Functions:
  1. Manage a pipeline of live projects, reporting on any that are not won.
  2. Ensure follow-ups are completed on proposals sent to customers, maintaining excellent communication.
  3. Generate high-quality technical proposals for selected projects, tailored to customer requirements.
  4. Forecast orders expected by month and quarter, as well as revenue by month, providing accurate predictions.
Requirements:
  1. Engineering background preferred but not essential.
  2. Experience in selling Equipment and Service is highly desirable.
  3. Located near High Wycombe, with easy access to the UK region.
  4. Goal-oriented, organized team player with excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
  5. Proven experience in account management, with strong computer literacy including Sage ERP and MS Office.

Earn an estimated £55,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
