About the Role
Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in providing mental health services to the local community. The successful candidate will have expertise in adult psychiatry and be able to manage complex cases with confidence. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in adult psychiatry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also be committed to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in mental health care.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Participate in service planning and business development activities to improve mental health services
• Supervise junior medical staff and provide guidance on clinical matters
• Contribute to academic programs and participate in lectures and seminars as part of the internal CPD program

What We Offer
Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust offers a competitive salary package of £85,000-£115,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we offer a range of benefits, including generous annual leave entitlement, flexible working arrangements, and access to training and development opportunities.
