About the Role

This exciting opportunity is available at our Openshaw Campus, where you will work closely with our Student Support and Foundation Learning Department to provide specialist support to students. As a Pastoral Support Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing action plans to address the pastoral and welfare needs of students, working closely with internal and external support agencies.

To be successful in this role, you will need a Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics or equivalent, as well as a Level 3 qualification in Education, Social Care, Mentoring, Youth Work, Counselling, or Advice & Guidance. You will also need evidence of effective use of ICT systems and programs, as well as experience of supporting learners in an educational setting, preferably FE/HE.
