Job Overview

We are seeking an HR Coordinator to provide administrative support to our Human Resources team. As an HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, processing documentation, and assisting with recruitment exercises.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join VANRATH as an HR Coordinator and contribute to the smooth operation of our Human Resources department. You will work closely with the HR Manager to implement College policies and procedures, maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation, and provide administrative support to recruitment exercises.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on the HR management system in respect of staff and applicants.
  • Process and sign off agency paperwork, and ensure timely disposal of records in line with Records Retention policy.
  • Implement College policies, particularly those relating to all HR processes, and support the maintenance and development of the Human Resources Management System.
  • Assist with the collation of data for, and the completion of Statutory Reports and Surveys, and participate in the development and review of HR procedures.
  • Monitor the receipt of applications to recruitment exercises, input monitoring information for all applicants and employees in line with Section 75 requirements, and assist BSPs to make arrangements for shortlisting and interviewing.
  • Prepare documentation for shortlisting and interviewing recruitment panels, any feedback requests or appeals following shortlisting or interviewing, and assist with admin tasks across the department/College as required.

Requirements

To be successful as an HR Coordinator, you will need a minimum of 4 GCSEs or equivalent @ Grades A-C, including English Language and Maths, plus a recognised IT/Word Processing qualification, or 1 year's experience of working in an office environment within the last 5 years with duties including word processing, inputting data, filing, making/answering telephone calls, and note taking or records management.

Salary

The salary for this role is £12.52 per hour.
