Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Trauma and Orthopaedic team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of occupational therapy services within the team, ensuring high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of the service.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of patients with complex health and social care needs, using evidence-based practice and client-centered principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
  • Provide clinical and professional leadership to a team of qualified occupational therapists, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement service development projects, working closely with the clinical lead and other stakeholders to drive innovation and improvement.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and development of the Trust's occupational therapy service, ensuring alignment with national guidelines and legislation.
  • Supervise and appraise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
