Occupational Therapist Team Lead

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and skilled occupational therapist to join our dynamic Trauma and Orthopaedic team at the Princess Royal University Hospital. You will work closely alongside the clinical lead occupational therapist for general surgery, providing specialist assessment, consultancy, and intervention of patients' occupational needs within the inpatient setting.
Main Duties- Oversee, coordinate, and develop the orthopaedic occupational therapy service at the Princess Royal University Hospital.
- Provide clinical and professional leadership to a team of qualified members of staff, encouraging and supporting their development of clinical, teaching, and managerial skills.
- Maintain a high standard of autonomous working and supervision of others in complex assessment, treatment, and discharge planning.
- Identify areas for service development and projects for the team to complete, promoting a forward-thinking approach.
- Participate in and motivate others to lead CPD sessions through journal clubs, in-service skills training, and peer support.
