About the Role

At Horizon Care and Education, we are seeking a dedicated Residential Youth Care Professional to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our homes across the Yorkshire region.

This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about enabling young people to shape their own future and make positive life choices. As a Residential Youth Care Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting our young people to develop new skills, build positive relationships, and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supporting young people with daily routines, including morning preparations, educational activities, and evening relaxation periods.
  2. Providing emotional support and guidance to help young people navigate challenging situations and build resilience.
  3. Collaborating with colleagues to deliver person-centred care and ensure the well-being of each young person.
  4. Participating in regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  5. Working flexibly to meet the needs of the service, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
