Childcare Development Officer

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Youth Support Specialist to join our team at Polaris Community.
In this role, you will provide high-quality residential care and support services to children and young people, while also contributing to their personal growth and development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of our residents.
- Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with residents and colleagues.
- Encouraging the development of individual interests and abilities.
You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized care packages that cater to the unique needs of each child or young person.
Key qualifications include experience working with vulnerable young people, commitment to the role, and flexibility to work a range of shifts, including some weekends and bank holidays.
In return, we offer a competitive salary package, including a minimum of £40 per hour (including sleep ins), plus additional benefits such as full training, paid sleep-ins, company pension, and employee discount scheme.
