Role Overview



We are seeking a Youth Development Coordinator to join our team at Horizon Care & Education in the Yorkshire region. The successful candidate will provide support to young people in various aspects of daily life within our homes, promoting their well-being and helping them reach their full potential.



About the Role:



This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young people and enabling them to shape their own future. As a Youth Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting young people in their personal development, including helping them continue with hobbies, social activities, and friendships, and learn new skills.




  • Supporting young people with morning routines, such as getting ready for school and making sure they have a good breakfast.
  • Preparing evening meals and ensuring the young person has a safe space to relax and unwind within the home.
  • Helping young people to reach their potential and experience new opportunities.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a small team to deliver relationship-based, person-centred care.


Requirements:



To be successful in this role, you will need to be open to working in a reflective manner and delivering high-quality care to young people. You will also need a full UK driving licence.
