Care Assistant Role at Crosslaw House Care Home

About the Job:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Crosslaw House Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality care and support to residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Develop strong relationships with residents, understanding their individual needs and preferences.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident's care plans, ensuring seamless communication among staff members.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a warm and welcoming environment, fostering social interactions among residents.
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of residents, responding promptly to emergencies or call bells.
  • Assist residents with daily routines, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.
Requirements:
  • SQV Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • At least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant (or transferable skills)
  • Genuine passion for caring for the elderly and commitment to delivering excellent service
  • Integrity, respect, and a strong sense of teamwork
