Adult Acute Mental Health Nurse Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Adult Acute Mental Health team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care to patients and their families, working in close partnership with our multidisciplinary team.
Main Responsibilities
- Assess and formulate care plans for patients, working in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to support patients in achieving their goals and improving their mental health outcomes.
- Act as named nurse for a group of patients, providing leadership and guidance to junior staff members.
- Participate in therapeutic group work programs and contribute to the development of new initiatives.
- Take charge of the ward in the absence of the ward manager and deputy ward manager, ensuring continuity of care and effective leadership.

Person Specification
We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse with:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Experience of working in a mental health setting, with a strong understanding of mental health principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care.
