We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our Adult Acute Mental Health team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care to patients and their families, working in close partnership with our multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and formulate care plans for patients, working in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to support patients in achieving their goals and improving their mental health outcomes.
- Act as a named nurse for a group of patients, providing leadership and guidance to junior staff members.
- Participate in therapeutic group work programs and contribute to the development of new initiatives.
- Take charge of the ward in the absence of the ward manager and deputy ward manager, ensuring continuity of care and effective leadership.

We are looking for a qualified Mental Health Nurse with experience of working in a hospital setting, preferably in a mental health specialty. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Essential qualifications include registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and a degree in Mental Health Nursing. Desirable qualifications include experience of working in a mental health setting with non-dementia related mental health conditions.
