About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Adult Acute Mental Health team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care to patients and their families, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide a comprehensive service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality clinical care to patients and their families, including assessment, planning, and implementation of care plans.
  • Act as named nurse to a group of patients, working under the direction and supervision of the ward manager and deputy ward manager.
  • Participate in therapeutic group work programs and contribute to the development of individualized care plans.
  • Take charge of the ward in the absence of the ward manager and deputy ward manager, ensuring continuity of care and effective leadership.
  • Contribute to the assessment of care needs and development of care plans, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide nursing interventions to support patients in meeting their agreed goals, coordinating and participating in the review of progress towards those goals.
