About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse (Mental Health Specialist) to join our team at Active Care Group Recruitment. As a Staff Nurse in our Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to young people aged 12-18 with diagnosed mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Protecting and Supporting Health: Safeguard the physical and emotional well-being of our patients, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are respected.
  • Care and Health Education: Assess and develop individualized care plans, providing education and support to promote healthy behaviors and outcomes.
  • Program Development and Evaluation: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, implement, and evaluate programs that address the unique needs of our patients.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Under the guidance of senior nursing staff, take charge of the ward or department in their absence, demonstrating leadership skills and expertise.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Demonstrate a flexible approach to hours of duty, adapting to the needs of the service and ensuring seamless care delivery.
Requirements
  • A current NMC Pin registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD), or Registered Sick Children's Nurse (RSCN).
  • A legal right to work in the UK.
