About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Adult Acute Mental Health team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care to patients and their families, working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality clinical care to patients and their families, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Act as named nurse to a group of patients, working under the direction and supervision of the ward manager and deputy ward manager.
- Participate in therapeutic group work programs and contribute to the development of individualized care plans.
- Take charge of the ward in the absence of the ward manager and deputy ward manager, ensuring continuity of care and effective leadership.
- Contribute to the assessment of care needs and the development of relevant care plans, working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team.
- Provide nursing interventions to support patients in achieving their agreed goals, coordinating and participating in the review of progress towards those goals.

Person Specification
- Registered Mental Health Nurse and active on NMC Register.
- Experience of formulating assessments, planning, coordinating, and supporting people within a hospital setting.
- Experience of providing care and interventions within a health setting, including specialist mental health settings.
