About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bank Staff Nurse to join our Theatre Department at Ashtead Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the safe and efficient running of our operating department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional patient care and support to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the Theatre team to ensure smooth and efficient operating department operations
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, consultants, and stakeholders to drive sustainable excellence in patient care and services
  • Monitor and report on quality and safety metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care and services
  • Support the Quality agenda by monitoring achievements against required standards and identifying risks to quality of care and services

Requirements

  • ODP level 3 qualification
  • Comprehensive understanding of relevant clinical standards and guidelines
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Sound computer skills and knowledge
  • Registered member with the HCP
