We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Scrub Nurse to join our team at Ramsay Health Care UK. As a key member of our Theatre department, you will play a vital role in supporting our surgeons and anaesthetists in delivering high-quality patient care.
About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of skill, expertise, and attention to detail. As a Theatre Scrub Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and maintaining the operating theatre environment to ensure a safe and efficient surgical experience
- Assisting surgeons and anaesthetists during procedures, providing support and guidance as needed
- Monitoring patient vital signs and reporting any concerns to the surgical team
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and theatre efficiency
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions
- Surgical scrub experience within all specialities
- Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) would be desirable, but not essential
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
- Flexible and positive attitude
- A warm, considerate, and empathetic character
