Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Sister/Charge Nurse to join our team at Ramsay Health Care UK. As a key member of our Theatre department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services.

About the Role

As a Theatre Sister/Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals in the operating theatre. You will be responsible for ensuring that all patients receive high-quality care and that our surgical services are delivered to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals in the operating theatre
  • Ensure that all patients receive high-quality care and that our surgical services are delivered to the highest standards
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the quality of our surgical services
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Monitor and report on the performance of our surgical services

Requirements

  • NMC/HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions
  • Experience in surgical scrub and theatre nursing
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • A warm, considerate and empathetic character
