About the Role
As a Theatre Sister/Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals in the operating theatre. You will be responsible for ensuring that all patients receive high-quality care and that our surgical services are delivered to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals in the operating theatre
- Ensure that all patients receive high-quality care and that our surgical services are delivered to the highest standards
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the quality of our surgical services
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
- Monitor and report on the performance of our surgical services
Requirements
- NMC/HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions
- Experience in surgical scrub and theatre nursing
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
- Flexible and positive attitude
- A warm, considerate and empathetic character
