Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Sister/Charge Nurse to join our team at Ramsay Health Care UK. As a key member of our Theatre department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of nurses in the Theatre department, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and implement effective nursing practices and protocols to improve patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.

Requirements

  • NMC/HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions.
  • Proven experience in surgical scrub nursing, including orthopaedics.
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) desirable.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
