Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Sister/Charge Nurse to join our team at Ramsay Health Care UK. As a key member of our Theatre department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of nurses in the Theatre department, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes.
- Develop and implement effective nursing practices and protocols to improve patient safety and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
Requirements
- NMC/HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions.
- Proven experience in surgical scrub nursing, including orthopaedics.
- Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) desirable.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
