We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Scrub Nurse to join our team at Ramsay Health Care UK. As a key member of our Theatre department, you will play a vital role in supporting our surgeons and anaesthetists in delivering high-quality patient care.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and flexible individual to join our team as a Scrub Nurse. You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the operating theatre environment, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are available and in good working order.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and anaesthetists during operations, maintaining a safe and efficient operating theatre environment
- Prepare and maintain all equipment and supplies required for surgical procedures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
- NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions
- Surgical scrub experience within all specialities
- Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) would be desirable, but not essential
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
- Flexible and positive attitude
- A warm, considerate and empathetic character
